Myntra sale days create a different kind of dispatch pressure. Fashion products often have size, color, and SKU variations, so one wrong label can create an expensive return. A sale-ready label process should be prepared before orders start piling up.
Use this checklist 24–48 hours before a major sale campaign and again on each sale morning.
Pre-Sale Printer Audit
- Keep at least two rolls of 4×6 thermal labels ready.
- Print a barcode sample and scan it before the first real batch.
- Clean printer head if the barcode has white gaps.
- Keep one fallback printer or A4 print option available.
Download and Crop in Controlled Batches
Do not create one huge uncontrolled PDF if your packing team cannot process it in order. Download labels by SKU group or pickup slot. Use the Myntra Label Cropper to prepare cleaner labels and reduce barcode scaling issues.
Assign Fixed Packing Roles
During sale volume, one person should not pick, pack, print, and hand over alone. Split work into picker, label printer, packer, and checker. The checker verifies size/color/SKU before the label is attached.
Use a No-Tape Barcode Rule
Avoid transparent tape over thermal barcode areas. Tape glare and heat can make barcodes difficult to scan. If labels need protection, place tape away from the barcode and AWB area.
Final Pickup Control
Before pickup, count packets by courier and compare with the manifest. Keep delayed or failed-QA packets in a separate bin so they are not accidentally handed over.
